Galane Gold's Board of Directors is comprised of a mixture of senior professionals with extensive experience in:

Ravi Sood is a financier focused on emerging markets. Mr. Sood was the founder and former CEO of Navina Asset Management, a Toronto-based investment firm that was acquired by a major financial institution. Mr. Sood also serves as a director of several companies including Blockchain Power Trust, Feronia Inc., and Eve & Co. Previously Mr. Sood was a director of ICC Labs (acquired) and Elgin Mining (acquired).
CEO & Director
Nick Brodie is a senior executive with extensive experience in Africa. Prior to joining Galane Gold Mr. Brodie was the CFO of Katanga Mining Limited and Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc. Mr. Brodie is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants and holds a BSc (Hons) Geography.
Ian Egan has over 35 years’ experience in the mining industry including holding senior management positions at BHP, Utah Mining Australia, Mineral Deposits Ltd and N L Industries Inc. and serving as a director of Kenmare Resources Plc, Ok Tedi Mining Ltd and Orbital Corporation. Mr. Egan holds a BEc degree in Accounting and Law and an MEc in Industry Economics and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (FAusIMM) and a Fellow of CPA Australia(FCPA).
Mr. Amar Bhalla is the President of Capit Investment Corp., a private real estate company that owns and manages a portfolio of apartment buildings, commercial sites, and development projects in the GTA. He has over 20 years of experience in the acquisition, repositioning and redevelopment of GTA based real estate across asset classes. Prior to his leading of Capit, Mr. Bhalla chaired Carlaw Capital Group, a Toronto based merchant bank focused on technology businesses and was the CEO of Crescent Logic, a business application software firm. Mr. Bhalla has and continues to serve on the Boards of several TSX and TSX-V listed businesses across technology and mineral industries and is the Chairman of BristolGAte Asset Management’s IRC and Chairman of Dream Alternative Trust. Mr. Bhalla is a CFA Charterholder, is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors, and holds a BA in Economics from McGill University.
Wayne Hatton-Jones has 30 years’ experience working in South Africa, Mali West Africa, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Romania and the Solomon Islands. Mr. Hatton-Jones served as the General Manager of the Gold Ridge Operation (Allied Gold) in the Solomon Islands, the Chief Operating Officer of Galaxy Gold Mining Limited, Acting General Manager of Avocet Mining plc in Tajikistan, General Manager of Ergo gold surface retreatment operation at DRD Gold, Process Manager and Acting General Manager of Randgold Resources and Metallurgical Manager for Harmony Gold mine. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa and a Management Development Diploma (MDP) from the University of South Africa.
